Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.
Characteristics of the Warrior Group
Per the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.
At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might look out of place, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a violent initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise initiated the narrative’s action—exploited The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading the secret base, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.
The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.
